The landmark development of the Castle Residences and The Porter House Hotel is now complete.
UDS Australia's first local development officially opened to the public on Wednesday 21 September in a lavish celebration hosted by Accor.
Developer, United Development Sydney said that the project has been a visionary journey in the creation of a residential and hotel precinct which blends history with a contemporary build.
Central to the development is Castle Residences - 131 luxury apartments in configurations of studio through to penthouse suites.
Purchasers have now taken residence and are enjoying the building ambience and amenities including gymnasium, lap pool and the automated parking system, along with on-site hotel services.
The availability and integration of the amenities and services of The Porter House Hotel to residents via the exclusive Digit Valet walking, talking iPad concierge - the only one of its kind in Australia - is what really sets Castle Residences apart in convenience and city living.
Boasting 122 stunning rooms and suites, the heritage listed Porter House Hotel is a stunning example of adaptive re-use. It was created out of a building commissioned in 1876 by Hugh Dixson, Australia’s leading tobacco manufacturer and a notable philanthropist and horticulturist. After starting its life as Dixson & Sons tobacco factory and warehouse, it became a retail shopfront for the artisan furnishings of WW Campbell & Co and famous leather merchant George Johnson & Sons.
The Porter House Hotel is part of Accor Hotel’s MGallery Hotel Collection and signals a milestone in the hotel groups portfolio as it’s 400th hotel.
The Porter House - MGallery boasts 122 stunning rooms and suites, private event / conference rooms and hospitality venues to suit all occasions. Open within the hotel is Henry's Bread and Wine on the ground floor and Dixson & Sons restaurant and bar on level one.
The Porter House - MGallery will open the doors to the much anticipated Spice Trader on level 4 soon.
